7 - deployment
The process of deployment is usually considered making a website live. This is the point where the website becomes available on the Internet or Intranet.
In most circumstances a website going onto the Internet is done through FTP to the hosting site. Basically this means to transfer all the information, including web pages, databases, images and any other necessary files, to the computer that will act as the website server. Alternatively, the website can be written to CD and given to the appropriate person to deal with as necessary.
DiJ8 Limited may help in the process of finding a hosting service but will not be involved in opening of any accounts with web hosting companies. DiJ8 Limited also does not get involved with purchasing of web addresses except to assist in where this process can be done.
