7 Steps
4 - design
The design step is often the longest as getting it just right is important. Primary colour choices will usually be determined by colours of any logo supplied or designed.
Visually interactive components of a web page, text fonts, sizes, and layouts are shown with possible images as placeholders where necessary.
While content does not need to be supplied at this stage it is often best that it is. Design layouts can be affected by length of content and imagery included. If the final content is grossly different to that used during design, the result may not be exactly as shown at the design stage.
DiJ8 Limited will make every effort to make sure the final result is as close to the design agreed upon but design tools and Internet browsers can display things differently. Internet browser versions are particularly susceptible to differences in the final look and how similar it is to the design concept.
During the design process is where most ideas are swapped between Di8 Limited and the client. Multiple possibilities may be created so that concepts not previously thought of can be integrated into the final outcome. A design may be tweaked frequently until the perfect idea is agreed upon.
